GoBroda — Privacy Policy

GoBroda is a personal dating journal that helps you organize and reflect on your dating life. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

Two ways to use GoBroda

• Guest mode (no account): everything you create stays on your device. We do not collect or receive any of it.
• With a free account: we back up and sync your data across your devices using our servers, as described below.

What we collect (account users)

• Account email — used to sign you in with a one-time code (passwordless). No password is stored.
• Profile content you enter — names, Instagram handles, phone numbers, addresses, ages/birthdays, ratings, notes, dates and reminders.
• Photos — photos you add, including those in the Face ID / Touch ID protected vault, are backed up to our cloud storage when photo backup is enabled in Settings. You can turn photo backup off in Settings.

Where your data is stored

Account data is stored on our servers (api.gobroda.com, a MySQL database) and photos in cloud object storage (Amazon S3). Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Sign-in tokens are stored in your device Keychain.

Face ID / Touch ID

Biometrics are handled entirely on your device by Apple's system. We never receive or store your biometric data; it only unlocks the in-app photo vault locally.

Third-party services

• AI suggestions / astrological compatibility (DeepSeek): when you use these features, related inputs (such as birth dates or zodiac signs) are sent to the AI provider to generate a result.
• Instagram lookups: the app may request public Instagram profile information to indicate whether a handle is public or private.
• Email delivery is used to send your one-time sign-in code.

Data about other people

GoBroda is a private journal. You are responsible for the information you record about other people and for having any consent required by the laws that apply to you. Do not store information or images of anyone under 18. Keep intimate images only with the consent of the people in them.

Your choices & data deletion

You can edit or delete any profile in the app. To delete your account and the data associated with it from our servers, contact us at the address below and we will process your request. Guest-mode data is removed by deleting the app.

Children

GoBroda is intended for adults (17+) and is not directed to children.
